Our research is focused on the clinical investigation of the neuroinflammatory mechanisms underlying the aging brain and dementias using PET imaging.
Volunteers Needed for Alzheimer’s Disease Screening Study at Stony Brook Medicine:
We are looking for volunteers ages 55 or older to participate in research studies to better understand memory impairment and Alzheimer’s disease. Volunteers who speak English fluently, either with or without memory problems, are eligible for the study. The study involves brief testing for memory and cognition and blood draw, with the total time commitment will be about two hours. Compensation is up to $60 for completing all study procedures.
